Thank you

**THIS IS MY SECOND POST. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO LOOK AT THE OTHER CARD **

Boy, is it HOT here in Belgium!! Even climbing the stairs costs me too much effort.
So instead of making a card, I finally took the time to photograph a card I made a little bit earlier this week.
And wednesday, school holiday is finally there, so time for another WOYWW and time to visit other people's blogs too!! Yay!

I thought the dress looked a little plain after colouring it, so I decided to do some faux stitching on it with a white gelpen. Looks soooo much better! I also putted some Stickles on her wings to make them look all glittery. I love being a girl :)

Materials:
Stamp ~ Magnolia
Papers ~ The Latte Stack (all of them :))
Flowers ~ ?
Embellies ~ Whiff of Joy charm and head pins, leaves, buttons and pearls
Colour ~ Copic Markers

What a gift!

Look at this wonderfull card!! I didn't make it, but I think it's worth mentioning on my blog. I got it from a parent when we had a parent-teachermeeting to discuss the end of the year. It's really rare here in Belgium, because there are little people known to make these type of cards, so I was really amazed to be getting one. Thank you, thank you thank you! And the text they wrote on the back is also really incredible.

So... I can't give you any details on the card, but I had to let you know :)

Am I converted now?

Okey, I know. I haven't posted for a while now. And I completely missed WOYWW! :(
BUT...

I went from no production to mass production. I said I would never do this, because it totally kills your originality and I have the principe of not doing two cards the same. Then again, I needed some cards to thank the parents of the children in my class, because they trusted their kids with me for a complete year. And I dare you... Try finding two cards in there that are exactly the same. It's impossible! And you wouldn't believe it, but there are twenty cards there!!

Take a look...

But have I converted now? Hell no!! I really had to step outside of my comfy box to create something that was so easy that it could be easily done twenty times (allthough I spent a total of about three hours to complete this) and I still like the 'over-the-top-embellished' cards. Otherwise, wouldn't it be a complete waste of all those lovely flowers? LOL

So, I hope the parents will like it. Next week is the last time I will see the parents of those lovely children (oké, maybe not for some, but it's the thought that counts doesn't it :))

Thanks for looking and leaving all those wonderfull comments!

Ingredients:
Stamp: Got it for free, no idea what brand it is
Paper: nothing else but cardstock
Extra's: butterflies made with a butterfly punch and I also used a corner punch.

That's it. Pretty simple huh?

What's on your workdesk wednesday

It's another WEDNESDAY, so you know what that means? Yes, yes, yes, it's another WOYWW. I'm so sorry for being so late with my posting, but I had tons of stuff to do for my job (as I am a teacher and work is nover done) and we have a different time zone here in Belgium, so I am always and ever late :)

And here's my room from another view. You should see me taking this picture every week, holding the camera so I don't see a single thing not knowing what picture is going to show. Really, it's as big of a surprise to me as it is to you!

And here is my amazing storage space. As my scraproom is currently in my bedroom, I have some storage issues. So now I keep everything under my bed in boxes. How's that for being so tidy? LOL.
I actually had to lie on the floor to get this shot! Yes, I go to the extremes for WOYWW :D

Remember how I told you last that the flowers on my workdesk weren't the only ones I got?
Well, I keep the rest of them contained in glass containers, all stored together in one box. They didn't fit onto my workdesk anymore :)
This is as organised as I can get! Every container has a different colour of flowers there. I know, I could open a store with all those flowers and still I've got the feeling that I need more!!!

And off course, I can't let you go without a picture of the card I've made and why my desk is looking as it is now.
So enjoy!

And thanks to everyone for leaving all those wonderfull comments!
I'm so sorry I can't visit everyone, as my time is limited.
Last week it took me four complete hours to get to half of the list and leave comments.
I have this strange way of doing so. I get to about a quarter of the people, then I think it's sad for the people who get last and probably don't get that many visitors. Then I get tired half way through that and keep picking without any order. After two days, the highlights are gone and I totally forget who I have visited. I'm SORRY. And you thought I was organised hm??

Congratulations!

Some wonderfull news! People I know just had a baby boy, Kenzo.
I couldn't let this moment pass without making a card, so here's my take on it.

Have you noticed that I didn't use any flowers here?

I couldn't pass up the chance of decorating the inside with my new toy: shrinkpaper. I just love it!

With this card I used the sketch from Double Dutch, so I can enter this challenge

Materials:
Papers ~DCWV and some cardstock
Stamp ~ Iris
Metal charms ~ Whiff of joy
Other ~butterfly punch, ribbon, pearls, my shrinkpaper :)

WOYWW - Work in progress

Hi!

Celebrations everywhere for the first year anniversary of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. No clue what I'm talk
ing about? Pop over to Julia Dunnit who was the inventor of this great .. euhm... invention. LOL
She asked us to make something especially for the celebration, but I've only found out about this blog one week ago, so didn't had the time to make something. I almost didn't post, because my blog was looking EXACTLY the same as last week but then...
I came up with a great idea that turned out no
t using my great idea, but became a card instead. SO... this is a 'happy birthday-card' to WOYWW. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
And here are the pictures from my 'work in progress' workdesk as I was becoming very creative.

And here you can find my desk from another corner.

Last week a lot of people suggested that I decorated the drawers myself. Actually, I didn't! My mother did it! We have had this drawers for as long as I can remember. It stood in our bathroom and when we moved I kind of begged my mom if I could get it. She wasn't planning on doing anything with them, so I got them. Yay!

I also thought it would be nice to show you my flowers/buttons that are not too far away from me when I'm crafting. This is not all of it, but you'll have to come back next week to be able to see what other secrets I still have got stored in my craftroom/bedroom :)

And off course here's a picture of my completed work and now my desk looks really tidy again. (yeah, can you believe it? I have to keep up my 'tidy'-status now hm? :-) )

Materials!

Stamp ~Whiff of joy (yes, the same as last post, I was planning something totally different LOL)
Flowers ~ e-line and ... ?
Embellies ~ Whiff of joy, buttons
Punches ~ leafs (Nellie Snellen)/butterflies
